Australasian Police and Emergency Services Games

Like no other event on the Emergency Services calendar, the Australasian Police and Emergency Services Games builds camaraderie and promotes a healthy lifestyle through the participation in sport, while heightening the public's awareness of Police and Emergency Services. The Games are conducted every second year in a new location, which provides competitors the opportunity to travel and enjoy a holiday at many locations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The 18th edition of the AP&ES games will be held from 3-10 March 2023, in Rotorua, New Zealand.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Keep checking back here as we add more information. Any questions in the meantime can be sent through our contact form found here.

We encourage all registrants and their Whanau to get Vaccinated.

GRAEME DINGLE FOUNDATION

APES2023 are very excited to partner with the Graeme Dingle Foundation as our Games Charity Partner.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation works with New Zealand’s tamariki and rangatahi at different life stages, working directly with schools and communities in 40 communities across the country, from the Far North to Stewart Island.

The Foundation’s programmes - Kiwi Can, Stars, Career Navigator, Project K, Kiwi Tahi and MYND - cover students from five to 18 and have been proven to have a direct impact on building resilience to help them overcome life’s obstacles and thrive.

Through these community-focused, life changing, role modelling and mentoring programmes, young people develop life skills and confidence – empowered to find their purpose and direction in life. Since 1995 over 300,000 young people have gone through their programmes, helping more than 26,000 children each year to become their own heroes.
